I don't know why I forgot about this book. I'm interested in it! But, I have so many books, that I have to be picky. It says there "it's sure to be a far more interesting school year than most." How "School" themed is it? I've gotten far enough from school that those themes can be uncomfy for me, but it's hard to have a story with younger folks that doesn't have school, right?
There is very little school! They spend much more time doing fantasy and exploring strange places. I know that can be awkward when some young adult fantasy is like "it's time for SCHOOL now", but part of the power of writing is that you can choose which parts to focus on. Yes, they go to school in the background, but we don't have to watch that.
