This book has been a little over a year in the making! Amidst a wash of dark and dreary fantasy novels, I wanted to make one that was uplifting, where people work to make things better rather than just cutting away the things they don't like. What started as four children exploring a world of dreams opened up into a far greater thing than I could have ever hoped. Thank you, dear readers, and I hope you enjoy.

Perchance to Dream is available for $5, but if you like it please consider tipping whatever you can. Finances are very tight right now, and I need money to do frivolous things like pay rent and have food to eat. What might be a cheeseburger to you is a lifeline for me, and any help you can give is appreciated more than you know.
The cover art was commissioned from DragonKai. It's so good you guys! So good.

A Silly Excerpt with Gremmy:

It was not quite 10 o’clock the next morning when Gremmy placed the fishbowl upon his head.

“I hope you are satisfied with your purchase!” Consarnit was currently sitting on a slightly outdated DJ station, allowing the turntable to spin so that he oscillated around in a circle. Sadly, Gremmy was not interested in becoming a DJ, though even he could appreciate the visual flair this added to the advertisement. The tail flumphed over the edge of the counter, and then back up onto the turntable in rhythmic time.

“Yes! It’s exactly what I needed!” His voice was muffled, but only slightly, just enough so that people knew your voice was being muffled. Presentation was important, especially where Gremmy was going. Proudly, the gremlin scampered out of Consarnit’s shop, and onward towards the central plaza.

“What are you wearing.”
“Gremmy do you need help taking that off?”
“Off?”
Gremmy waved both arms in confusion. The fishbowl had been immaculately shaped for his long schnoz, with little protrusions for his ears in the back. He could breathe just fine, and indeed took a perfect amount of breathable air with him at all times, in case the outside was hazardous. “I just got done putting it on.”

I don't know why I forgot about this book. I'm interested in it! But, I have so many books, that I have to be picky. It says there "it's sure to be a far more interesting school year than most." How "School" themed is it? I've gotten far enough from school that those themes can be uncomfy for me, but it's hard to have a story with younger folks that doesn't have school, right?

There is very little school! They spend much more time doing fantasy and exploring strange places.
I know that can be awkward when some young adult fantasy is like "it's time for SCHOOL now", but part of the power of writing is that you can choose which parts to focus on. Yes, they go to school in the background, but we don't have to watch that.

Thank you for letting me know!
